Are you ready for Kids Bolo's IN PERSON Urdu Conversational Classes in AJAX?

These classes will be held every Saturday from April 26 - June 21 (8 sessions; excluding May 24th long weekend) at Ajax Public Library [55 Harwood Ave S, Ajax, ON]

For Grades 2-5 only (ages 7-10)
Time: 10:45 am - 11:45 am

The lessons are designed to help kids with little to no current knowledge of Urdu get comfortable with their spoken Urdu.

Each session is interactive, structured, relatable for kids who are native English speakers and learning Urdu as a second language.

What can you expect from these 8 beginner sessions?

  • Language of instruction will be both English + Urdu (50-50 ratio)
  • Instructor to child ratio will be 1:8
  • Text used in the curriculum will be Roman Urdu (Urdu written using English letters)
  • Each student will receive a folder of practice worksheets/flashcards
  • By the 8th session, the goal will be to identify and understand some Urdu common words (e.g. fruits, colours, numbers, outdoor objects, opposites) and basic phrases (e.g I like/don't like, I want/don't want, My name is ___, I am ____ years old)
  • Note: there are no makeup classes and refunds for missed lessons

Do the children need to know Urdu?

Our classes are designed for beginners with little to no ability to speak Urdu.

Our class sessions are a mix of Urdu and English, so no matter how familiar your child is with the language, they'll be able to join in the fun!

Refund / cancellation policy

We understand life can be unpredictable with kids and are happy to support changes in your schedule, as we can.

We offer full refunds/cancellations with 1 month notice prior to the start of the classes

If you cancel two weeks prior to the start date, 50% of your cost will be refunded

There will be no refund provided if you cancel with less than two weeks notice.

There are no makeup sessions or refunds for missed classes
