Kids Bolo Academy Policies

The following policies apply to all Kids Bolo classes, including subscription-based conversational classes, play-based sessions, adult classes, and summer camps, unless otherwise noted.

Class Length Policy

  • Adult Urdu classes will be 60 minutes in length
  • Urdu classes for children will be 45 mins if there are 3-5 kids. The class will be 30 mins if there are 1-2 kids
  • Virtual camps will vary in length. Please refer to the specific camp's page

Absence Policy

  • In the event your child is unable to attend a class, we are happy to share a class recording with you that you can watch on your own time. Just reach out to us at class.support@kidsbolo.com
  • We are unable to share a PDF copy of the slides used in class
  • A refund will not be provided for any missed classes

Number of classes included in each month (subscription based classes)

  • Your monthly subscription is comprised of 8 classes (or 4 classes for Adults, Play Based sessions, or other sessions where a different number of days has been specified)
  • Your subscription billing cycle is based on the completion of classes, not the calendar month. This means your billing date may shift slightly from month to month depending on when your classes fall.
  • Not all of our classes start exactly on the 1st of the month. As such, in certain months the 8 classes may end a few days before the end of the month (for example, if the first class is on Oct 29th, the last class for that session will be on the 20th of November)
  • Any classes that occur that month after the 8th class will be a part of the next month's subscription
  • Your credit card will be charged after the completion of the 8th class for the following month (or 4 classes for Adults or Play Based sessions)

Renewal and Tutor Assignment Policy (subscription based classes)

  • Your child's subscription to our classes will automatically renew each month and they will continue to advance through the classes and levels
  • Your child will most likely continue in the same date/time slot that you originally signed up for. In the event a class does not have sufficient students to continue, we will provide you with alternatives. If none of the alternatives work for you, we can pause/cancel your subscription until we find sufficient interest in that time slot
  • Each level takes 3 months to complete
  • Kids Bolo reserves the right to change the tutor assigned to any class at any time, including mid-session, to ensure continuity and quality of instruction. While we make every effort to maintain consistency, tutor changes may occur due to scheduling, availability, or quality assurance reasons. A change of tutor does not constitute grounds for a refund, pause, or cancellation outside the standard notice period.

Cancellation and Pausing Policy (subscription based classes)

  • We require a 2 week notice if you would like to pause or cancel the subscription starting the next month
  • We are unable to provide refunds for any classes occurring in the current month of the subscription
  • Please note - the 2 week requirement is strict. Organizing our classes takes a lot of planning with teachers, parents, availabilities, etc. and we need time to adjust things around to ensure the classes can go ahead as planned for everyone else

Refund Policy (subscription based classes)

  • Unfortunately we are unable to provide a refund for any missed classes
  • In the event you choose to pause or cancel your subscription, the pause/cancellation will be effective the next month. We are unable to provide refunds for the current month
  • We require a 2 week notice for any pauses or cancellations

Cancellation Policy (camps)

  • We offer full refunds or cancellations with at least 15 days notice prior to the start of the camp week you have registered for
  • Refund or cancellation requests received less than 15 days before the start of the camp week will not be eligible for a refund
  • If your child is unable to attend a camp session, we are happy to share the class recording for that session.

Recording Policy

  • All our classes and camps are recorded and stored for 60-90 days
  • The recordings are used for training purposes for new and existing tutors
  • The recordings may also be shared with parents and students enrolled in the class for review purposes

Kids Bolo Initiated Cancellation

  • In the event that Kids Bolo cancels a class due to tutor unavailability, technical issues, or another reason, we will offer a makeup class or credit toward a future session. If we are unable to provide a suitable alternative, a pro-rated refund will be issued for the affected class(es)

Class Conduct Policy

  • Students and parents are expected to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior during all class sessions. Kids Bolo reserves the right to remove a participant from a class session if their behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful to other students or tutors. Repeated conduct issues may result in suspension or cancellation of the subscription. In the event of removal or suspension due to conduct, refunds will not be provided.
