Kids Bolo Play App is a playful companion to Kids Bolo’s Urdu learning journey. It is designed for children who learn best by seeing, hearing, tapping, and repeating.

The app builds vocabulary through short, engaging practice - flipping through flashcards, playing quick games, and moving through levels at their own pace. It pairs especially well with our Urdu lessons as a next step for extra repetition and reinforcement between classes.

    Children explore themed flashcards with bright illustrations. Every card includes audio pronunciation and text support.

Urdu Games for Kids

Every topic (Animals, Fruits and Vegetables, Body Parts, Colours and Numbers) comes with its own games, and each game has three levels that get a little harder as your child improves.

  • Memory Match: flip the cards and match the pairs, a fun way to remember new Urdu words.
  • Select the Object: tap the picture that matches the Urdu word.
  • Fill in the Blanks: finish a short Urdu sentence by choosing the missing word.
  • Yes or No: look at the picture and decide if the Urdu word matches it.
  • Count the Objects: in the Numbers topic, count how many you see and pick the right number.

Flashcards come with native Urdu audio, and after a few cards a Quick Quiz pops up so kids practise the words they just learned.

Built for Kids Raised in English Speaking Homes

Kids Bolo is made for families like ours, where kids understand some Urdu at home but answer back in English. Every word in the app is shown in English, Roman Urdu and Urdu script, with native Urdu audio, so children can play before they read the script and parents can join in even if their own Urdu is rusty. There are no accounts or logins: just add a profile for each child, and siblings each keep their own progress.

The app is for practice, so a few minutes of play between classes keeps new words fresh. When your child is ready to speak, our live online classes are taught by native Urdu speakers in Canada, the US and the UK, and our Roman Urdu books bring Urdu into storytime at home.
