URDU BOLO™ Conversational Classes (ADULTS) - May 2025 start | Virtual

Summary:

Our Urdu Conversational Classes are designed to help adults living outside Pakistan/India get comfortable with the Urdu language.

• Designed for ages 16+ with little to no knowledge of Spoken Urdu
• Structured and engaging curriculum
• Taught in English + Urdu, gradually moving to more Urdu over time
• All Urdu tutors are based in the US, UK or Canada 
• 1 class per week for 60 minutes
• Practice resources + weekly words provided every month
• Levels of classes for you to progress through that gradually build Urdu vocabulary, basic phrases, comprehension and grammar 
• Monthly plan requires you to register just once and classes can be canceled at anytime with 2 weeks written notice before the 1st of the month. No long-term commitment required

Objectives:

All students will start with Foundational levels and progress through the program. If you'd like to start from a higher level, please email masooma@kidsbolo.com

Each level will be completed in 4 months (16 lessons).

• Foundational: Identify and understand some common words and phrases
• Beginner: Understand and use simple Urdu words and phrases
• Intermediate: Form and use basic conversational sentences in Urdu
• Comprehension: Have basic conversations in mixed Urdu/English sentences
• Storyteller: Have basic conversations in full, short Urdu sentences
• Communicator: Continue to expand on everyday language using detailed descriptions and basic reasoning 
• Post Communicator: Levels will continue for as long as the student likes. Lessons will continue to build on communication

Language of instruction:

• English + Urdu. These classes are designed for adults who are native English speakers with little to no current ability to speak or understand Urdu
• The text used in our materials will always be Roman Urdu (Urdu written using English letters)

Class Structure:

• 4 classes per month (1x per week)
• Small group classes (3-5 students)
• Virtual classes
• 60 minutes each

Ages:

• These classes are designed for ages 16+

Payment structure and pauses/cancellations:

• This is a subscription model. Your credit card will be charged $85 USD per month
• You can cancel at any time with 2 weeks' notice before the 1st of the month. This will stop payments for subsequent months. The current month will not be refunded.
